The Romance Addict

I'm a student from Kolkata, India. I was barely 3 yrs old when I first read a book and since then there has been no stopping me when it comes to books.I'm not just obsessed about books.I have other hobbies(skating, painting) and ambitions(I'm studying to be a comp sci. engineer and someday make my parents really really proud of me).But BOOKS are something I have always been passionate about. I've learned so much from them.Reading a book is like entering a whole new world. It gave me dreams, hope and friends. And IMO, there is nothing else that someone needs when they have a great book with them. Ok, say maybe I'm a little obsessed. Reading has given me so much. So, I figure writing reviews on the books I read is my way of thanking the community. It is something I can give back. It is my way of helping the authors & publishers so that they keep writing & publishing wonderful books. I don't promise to always write a review for every book I read or as soon as I read, but I'll write as many reviews as possible. Also, I won't let any personal feelings towards any author/publisher compromise any review I write.

Cinder & Ella

Cinder & Ella - Kelly Oram Fairy tale/fair tale retelling is not one my favourite genres. I usually avoid reading books from this genre. But [a:Kelly Oram|3203095|Kelly Oram|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1259810020p2/3203095.jpg] is one of my favourite authors. So, i had decided to read this book. And my decision turned out to be great. I loved this book! My dislike with this genre is that the MCs usually have to suffer a LOT of heartbreak and their lives are very depressing almost upto the end! [b:Cinder & Ella|22724488|Cinder & Ella|Kelly Oram|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1406815644s/22724488.jpg|42254560] did have the usual heartbreak for the MCs but the story and the writing doesn't have a depressing monotone to it unlike the rest of the books in the genre(with a few exceptions of course). Another plus point is that the book portrayed the story of Cindrella and her Prince Charming rather than portraying the love story of a common girl and a movie star! The MCs are very lovable and as for the rest of the characters they grow on you. I grew to like them all and understood them even the step-family. Ms Oram delivers yet another great story in her genius-author style!(or maybe I'm just biased to her as she is one of my favourite authors:P)
